Course Description
The Science Club for ages 6–9 offers children an engaging introduction to science through themed, inquiry-based learning using the Science A-Z program. Delivered in 8-session thematic blocks, the club combines science exploration with English language development in a supportive, small-group online setting. Each block explores topics from life science, physical science, or Earth and space science, encouraging children to observe, ask questions, discuss ideas, and think like young scientists. Sessions use age-appropriate nonfiction texts, visuals, simple experiments, and discussion to build scientific understanding alongside reading, vocabulary, and communication skills. To support learning beyond the live sessions, children receive access to **Science A-Z digital books and selected online resources**, allowing them to revisit topics, build vocabulary, and engage with science content at home in a relaxed, meaningful way. The focus is on curiosity, scientific thinking, and confidence rather than memorising facts. The Science Club is suitable for both English language learners and confident English speakers who enjoy exploring the world through discovery, discussion, and hands-on learning.

Maximum of 6 participants per group to ensure quality attention and support. Sessions are delivered live online through our designated video conferencing platform. Attendance & Punctuality Please arrive/log in on time. Due to the short 30-minute duration, late arrivals may miss important parts of the lesson. Sessions start and end promptly. Cancellations & Rescheduling Cancellations by parents are not refundable, as your child’s spot is reserved for the full program. Rescheduling individual sessions is not possible, as the course runs on a fixed weekly schedule. If withdrawing before the start date, a full refund may be issued upon written request. Behavior & Participation A respectful, supportive learning environment is expected from all participants.
